Yahoo’s Head of Americas Ned Brody joined executives from MasterCard, Modelez International, Hearst Magazines, and Horizon Media for the “Masters of Change” panel to highlight opportunities and challenges in the market.

On the panel, Ned Brody shared key insights and perspectives on recent activity at Yahoo including:

  • ▪ A focus on innovation at Yahoo: “We’re working hard to create new conversations for marketers, new ad opportunities, and new formats.”

  • ▪ The opportunity with mobile: “In mobile, people are looking for a model that works. Advertisers want mobile advertising that works. We’ve come out with conversational formats—some call it content marketing or in-stream ads—that let brands be part of it.”

  • ▪ Building for engagement: “We want a beautiful, engaging experience for consumers that brands can participate in.”

  • ▪ The ask from marketers: “Efficacy and efficiency is where the push is for marketers.”
